This bad boy of a smoothie has been my breakfast pretty much everyday! Everyone always gets put off by the color, but it's a pretty amazing color isn't it! It's packed with fruit, veg and protein, setting you up for the day ahead of you. I recently got my boyfriend involved with a  healthy eating day and he was amazed by how energetic he felt all day and shaking that lethargic Christmas feeling.

Peeling ourselves out of bed and hydrating our bodies, we had one slice of brown toast with peanut butter and shared a banana. We let that go down and got dressed for a workout. We started off the day with a 3.6 mile run, adding some uphill training as well, then when we got home did some partner abdominal work and finished with a stretch. Constantly making sure our bodies were well fed with water, showered, then made a trip to gather some foods for our lunch. We picked up whole meal wraps, avocado, chicken breast, hummus and salad bits. Chucked it altogether which took no time at all and bamm lunch was completed. We had a lazy afternoon on the sofa and then made an afternoon smoothie- adding blueberries, spinach, milk, banana, avocado and oats. YUMM although the color of it was grey and Luke turned his nose up, buttttt he did drink it all! Dinner was homemade chilli - my absolute fav thing in the world! and a cup of tea before bed. Damm that I felt good the next day.


- Almond milk, handful of spinach leaves, banana, chia seeds, porridge oats and topped with water.


This is me trying to get back to normality and shift Christmas food far far away. I am returning to college on Monday which will help with getting back to a routine and back on track. Looking forward in trying new smoothies and lunches and hopefully be doing more blog posts!  Have a lovely weekend.
